I'm Not American But....

The recent Thanksgiving Holidays have put me in the mood.

Here are the things I am most thankful for this holiday season...

1) My wonderful partner Richard and all my wonderful friends and family
2) All the emails Richard, my family and friends send me throughout the day
3) My new job
4) Lancome mascara - girls if you haven't tried it, do! It's worth it....
5) My beautiful home (not the plumbing though, don't love the plumbing at all!)

That's the list for today... I am going to write a new list at least one more time before December 25th, I'm thinking it might be nice to wake up each morning and think about the things I'm grateful for... so that the plan for the next couple of weeks.

It's New Job Time!

Just a quick update....

I started a new job this past week. The first few days have gone quite well.

I will write more this week once I have adjusted to the new work schedule.

Sifting through the Muddle...

Blogging is a great way to connect with the world...when I decided to start writing I had one goal in mind. Reach out to other Gen Y'ers who are going through the same things I am; struggling to find their voices and their places in an over-saturated job market, trying to remain true to that voice, to unabashedly reach for their goals in the honest, thoughtful manner that typifies Generation Y.

And while I don't have the perfect job just yet, and while I may only be in the exact same place everyone else is, one thing I do know is to trust my instincts. And if there was one piece of advice I would like to give my friends that's what it would be .... Know yourself, trust your instincts, project authenticity, be constantly learning.

I am certain that will only lead us and lead others to our dreams.
